Joseph Guillory, Jr.

Joseph “Jay” Yves Guillory, Jr. of Covington, Louisiana passed away peacefully surrounded by family on June 12, 2022 at the age of 78. Jay is survived by his wife, Mary Ellen Guillory, his children, Ann Lopez (Warren), Michael Guillory (Anne), as well as his grandchildren, Carolyn Guillory and Elyse Guillory.

Jay is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Yves Guillory, Sr. and Elizabeth McDerby Guillory, and his sister Betty Rhodes.

Jay was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council #14614 and the Northlake Mandeville Rotary Club. He had a passion for religion, cooking, traveling, sports and music.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Mass on Friday June 17, 2022 at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church 501 Holy Trinity Drive Covington, Louisiana 70433 at 11:30 a.m. with visitation from 10:00 a.m. until service time. Internment will follow at Saint Joseph Abbey Cemetery.
