Joseph Arthur Foti Sr. was born in New Orleans, LA on July 17th 1952. He passed away on April 5th 2018 at St. Tammany Hospital. Survived by his wife of 44 years Donna Becnel Foti and his three children Joseph Foti Jr., Travis Foti and Lisa Foti Camhout, his three grandchildren, Peyton Foti, Sofia Dickson, and Alyssa Dickson and his niece Judy LaFauci. He was preceded in death by his parents Nicholas Emile Foti Sr. and Velma Cortez Foti, his sister Shirley Foti Deion and, his brother Nicholas Foti Jr.
Joe grew up in Metairie, LA and graduated from East Jefferson High School. He worked in construction for many years before discovering and utilizing his talent in management and sales. Joe quickly became known as the "Munchie Man" of New Orleans. His passion was making friends everywhere he went, listening to people’s stories, and sharing his own. He was a devoted and generous friend who met everyone with a warm smile and always made people feel special and loved. Above all Joe cherished his wife and children. Joe was known for his passion to cook for friends and family and playing the guitar with his friends. He had an innate ability to make anyone feel as if they were the most important person in the world to him. He was truly one of a kind and will truly be missed.
