John Meyers

John August Meyer, age 88 years old, passed away on Tuesday, December 22, 2015. He was the beloved husband of the late Daisy Mury Meyer. Father of Julin Meyer (Cindy), Marcus Meyer (Ann) and Sharon Tellez (Vincent). Grandfather of Angie, Allison and Shane.  Son of the late Anna Schloegel Meyer and John Meyer. A native of New Orleans, LA He was one of eleven children, and learned early on many things such as heard work and getting along with people. He learned several trades such as a painter, carpenter, plumber, but most of his years was spent in the Heating and Air conditioning business. A veteran of the United States Navy, serving during World War II. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Memorial Service on Wednesday, December 30, 2015 at 2:00 PM at Bagnell & Son Funeral Home, 75212 Lee Rd., Covington, LA 70435. Visitation from 12:00 PM until service time.
