Covington

John Louis Hubert transitioned peacefully into the arms of our Father surrounded by his family on May 30, 2024, at 63 years old. John was born in New Orleans to Henry Louis Hubert and Barbara Cook Hubert on December 15, 1960. After finishing his apprenticeship with Local 60, John became a journeyman plumber before opening his own business and becoming a certified Master Plumber. He then went on to be one of the master plumbers at Southeastern Louisiana University where he spent the last 12 years. John’s love for Yeshua was evident through his love of his family and his passion for Israel. He loved to hunt, fish, and was the best cook around. His legacy will be carried on through his children and grandchildren who were the pride and joy of his heart.

John leaves behind his beloved wife of 42 years, Donnina Ketchum Hubert, son Andrew John Hubert and wife Brittany Clark Hubert, daughter Madeline Patrice Hubert, four grandchildren Harvest, Levi, Eden and Haven Hubert, sister Jan Hubert Kelley and husband Frank Kelley, sister Judy Hubert Faust and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents Henry Louis Hubert and Barbara Pence.
