John Michael Fulgenzi, 62 of Madisonville, Louisiana joined his Heavenly Father March 4, 2021 after a courageous battle with brain cancer. He was born in Las Vegas, New Mexico, February 26, 1959. John graduated from Oklahoma State University in 1981 with a degree in Chemical Engineering and was currently working as a Senior Processing Engineer for Brown and Root Engineering. He married the love of his life, Wilhelmina Heath on March 10, 1990. They were blessed with two wonderful children, Helen Morgan Fulgenzi and John Michael Heath Fulgenzi. John is a charter member of North Cross United Methodist Church in Madisonville. He was an avid historian and outdoor sportsman who loved his Oklahoma University football, “Boomer Sooner!” John is preceded in death by his mother, Elizabeth Mercedes McNellis, his brother Mark Fulgenzi, his father in law Robert Ewell Heath, mother in law Helen Battle Heath. John is survived by his wife of 31 years Wilhelmina, from Augusta, Georgia, his children Morgan and Heath, his dad Dr. Lawrence Benjamin Fulgenzi, brothers William, wife LaDawn; Robert, wife Beth; sister Helen Fulgenzi Rivero, husband Carlos; brothers in law Clayton Chandler, wife Shirley; Norton Wade, wife Kim; Clifton “Chip” Heath, wife Shelia. Nieces and nephews, Sharlotte, Rebecca, Max, Reese, Fallon, Ashley, Austin, Robert, David, Marisa, Lauren, Matt, Kate, Ansley, Alexandra, Jordan, and Taylor. Services will be held Wednesday, March 10, at North Cross United Methodist Church, 311 LA-21, Madisonville, Louisiana. Visitation will be from 10am-12pm with services from 12pm-1pm and burial to follow at the Dendinger Cemetery in Madisonville. A Celebration of Life for John will be immediately following at North Cross United Methodist Church. Family requests that in lieu of flowers donations be made to North Cross United Methodist Church in John’s memory. We are very grateful for the kindness and generosity shown to our family during this difficult time.
