Joe Newby

Joe Richard Newby passed away on Monday November 29, 2021 at the age of 50. Joe was a native of North Carolina and a resident of Franklinton, LA. He survived by his loving wife Stacey Griffin. Son of Clyde Newby and the late Sue Newby, Brother of the late Robert Martin and Kathy James  . Joe leaves behind his daughter Courtney Braswell and granddaughter Adrianna Morales. Also survived by his brothers and sisters Clyde “Dutch” Newby, Darrel Newby, Lee Bakley, Tom Williams and Jennifer Cowell with nieces and nephews. Joe loved to hunt and fish, loved the outdoors and being with family and friends. To honor Joe's style casual dress would be appreciated.

Family and friends are invited to the Celebration of Life in the Chapel of Bagnell & Son Funeral Home, 75212 Lee Road, Covington, LA 70435, Saturday, December 4, 2021 From 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Casual dress preferred. Inurnment will be held at a later date.
