Jodie Cooper

We regretfully announce the passing of our beloved Jodie Fontcuberta Cooper of Covington, Louisiana on February 25, 2022 at the age of 67.  Jodie was surrounded by her family and passed away peacefully.

Momma Jodie, was one of the kindest women to ever walk this earth and our family was blessed to have her as the head of the family.

In 1971, she met Roy Cooper Jr and together they went on to have three lovely children. Jodie was a wonderful and loving mother who gave her all to her family. We will never be able to fill the space left behind by her.

Jodie was predeceased by parents Joseph and Mildred Fontcuberta and her brother Michael. She is survived by husband Roy Cooper; her children Monica Leon, Joseph Cooper (Anne), Megan Mariakis (Michael); and her grandchildren CJ Leon, Trenton Greer, Carson Greer , Caleb Cooper, Margaret Cooper, and baby Mariakis (coming in July). She is also survived by her siblings Diane Smith (Forrest), Mollie Revell (Jerry), Tom Fontcuberta (Martha), Anne Fontcuberta, and Bert Fontcuberta.(Virginia)
