Jewell was a homemaker and artist. She was a long standing member and president of New Orleans Art Association and President of The Metairie Art Guild .She passed away on Saturday, December 17, 2016.
The wife of 62 years to Donald J Fruchtnich.
Preceeded in death by her Mother, Sadie Ovella Leche, Father, Chester Leche, and four brothers, Toby Bechnel, Donald Leche, Lyle Leche, Jack Leche and Grandson, Scott A. Fruchtnicht Jr.
Survived by two sisters Dianne Leche Dykes and Karen Leche Banta. Also, three children: Mark Fruchtnicht, Scott Fruchtnicht, and Traci Fruchtnicht Hansen.
Grandchildren: Paul Fruchtnicht, Sarah Fruchtnicht Newman, Talia Fruchtnicht, Tiffany Fruchtnicht, Christian Hansen, and Lili Hansen. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Service on Thursday, December 22, 2016 at 12:00 PM in the Chapel of Bagnell & Son Funeral Home, 75212 Lee Rd., Covington, LA 70435. Visitation from 10:00 AM until service time. Interment in St. Joseph Abbey Cemetery
