Jeffrey L. Barca

Jeffrey L. Barca was a loving dad and grandfather who enjoyed cooking for the family and spending time doing outdoor activities. He loved live music and festivals. He enjoyed traveling. He played the piano and guitar with his grandchildren and loved to crack jokes. Teaching was not only his job; it was his ministry. Jeffrey always found ways to meet the needs of his students both in the classroom and volunteering outside of the classroom. He was passionate about education and never lost the desire to cultivate new skills. Jeffrey leaves behind his loving children Ashlee N. Barca, Amanda M. Barca, Joshua L. Carcabasis (Josh Reynolds), April L. Carcabasis (Sean Thornton), and Chase R. Carcabasis, his siblings; Steve A. Barca, Larry J. Barca (Allison Barca), David A. Barca (Lisa Barca) and eleven grandchildren. He was a member of Church of the King and a high school teacher at Crescent City Christian School. In his spare time, he enjoyed photography, spending the day golfing, woodworking, reading autobiographies, and taking camping, hunting and fishing trips.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 13, 2024 at Celebration Church - Metairie Campus 2001 Airline Dr, Metairie, LA 70001. A Visitation will be held begining at 9:30a.m., and a service will follow at 10:30a.m..
