Janet Marie Hopkins

Janet Marie Landry Hopkins of Covington, Louisiana peacefully entered into heaven on January 28, 2023, at the age of 76 surrounded by her beloved family. Janet was born on December 8, 1946 to the late James E. Landry and Josephine Lemoine Landry. Janet is survived by her loving husband, Henry Gerard Hopkins, Jr., her children Donna Hopkins, Gerard Hopkins and his wife Debbie Hopkins, her sister Leda Johnson, her four grandchildren Mallory, Johnny, Cortney, Samantha and her great granddaughter Adrianna. 

Janet, affectionately known as “MiMi”, was the backbone of her family, her encouraging spirit blessed many people. If there was a need, Janet was always willing to step in and help everyone. She loved her family and friends immensely, and she made everyone feel loved, important, and valued.  

She is our Sunshine!

Family and friends are invited to attend Funeral Services at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday February 9, 2023, at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 501 Holy Trinity Drive, Covington, Louisiana 70433 with visitation from 10:00 a.m. until service time at 11:00 a.m.
