James Mark Verret passed away on Thursday, April 7th, 2016 at the age of 74, native of Gretna, Louisiana, resident of Slidell, Louisiana. James "Jimmy" loving husband and best friend to Diana DeWailly Verret. Father to James Mark Verret II and Angele' Verret Ridge (Jeff). Loving grandfather to Jordan Marie Verret, Joshua Paul Ridge, Samuel Jacob Ridge, Brady James Ridge, and Khloe Reese Verret. Son to the late Davis Adam Verret and the late Mary Lillian Verdin. Brother to Betty Gallinghouse (Bob), Gueyden Verret (Margie, decd.), Davis Verret (Lynda), Richard Verret (Pat), Pamela Alexander (Kenny, decd.). Jimmy was a fun loving man who loved to cook for everyone and have his family and friends over for his "famous" gumbo's or just one of his many crab and crawfish boils.
