James Louis Gennings

James Louis Gennings, Jr., 67, a native of New Orleans, Louisiana, passed away December 21, 2023 at his home.
James was born, July 7,1956 to the late James Louis Gennings, Sr. and Beverly Gennings Hudson. He is proceeded in death by his son, James Louis Gennings, III; step-father, Jesse Hudson; and brother, Ian Perry Hudson.

James was a truck driver for many years. He also was a former worker at the New Orleans Fairgrounds. He loved caring for horses.
James was an exceptional man who touched the lives of many, and his memory will forever be cherished.

James leaves a legacy of love and memories to be cherished by his son, Jarmaine Robicheaux (Margo); two brothers, Curtis Gennings (Nikki) and Steven Hudson (Lubrina); four sisters, Sylvin Williams (Al), Sandra Edwards, Sheronde Gennings, and Carmella Camp; two grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

A private memorial service will be held for immediate family only.
