James Earl Williams

James Earl Williams passed away on February 17, 2023, at the age of 89. A native of Yale, Oklahoma and a resident of Covington, Louisiana. James is preceded in death by his parents Fred and Della Williams, his daughter Donna Williams Smith, a brother Fred Paul Williams, a sister Loretta Williams Walker, brother-in-law Charles Walker and son-in-law Frank Frabbiele.

James is survived by his loving wife, Carol Brauner Williams, daughters Cheryl Williams Knudsen (Bennie), Cathy Williams Frabbiele and Diane Williams Segrave (Walter). Pop to Timmy Daigle, Jr. (Jenee), Jaclyn Rawls (Bryan), Austin and Ethan Segrave and Amanda Smith. Great grandfather to Alexis, Olivia and Emma Rawls and Noah and Avery Daigle. Sister Sherry Williams Blackwell (Allen), Sister-in-law Gwen Williams, Son-in-law Dan Smith and many loving nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends.

James was a veteran of the Navy in the Korean War. He never met a stranger and was a kind and generous man, He loved to build and create things. A true Renaissance man.

Graveside service will be held on March 11, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, 270 Highway 98 East, Tylertown Mississippi 39667 with Capps Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.
