Jade “Little Peanut” Willow Brown of Mandeville, Louisiana passed away on Monday, February 22, 2021. She was born on January 31, 2020 in Covington, Louisiana to Brandy Lea Meredith and Jecha Brown.
Jade instantly stole the hearts of anyone who met her with her big rosy cheeks and wide infectious smile. She loved to be sang to and any toys that lit up and played music. She also loved having her hair played with and receiving kisses on her little hands and feet and being told how beautiful she was. Much of Jade’s life was uncertain and there were many times she almost didn’t survive; but she fought with so much strength and determination, beating odds no one ever expected her to do. She was a warrior, who smiled, played, made milestones despite all of her struggles and was an inspiration to all who got to know her and her story. Her time on earth was short but she will be carried in the hearts of many for years to come.
Jade is survived by her parents; her sister, Jaela Jalese Brown; her paternal grandparents, Phyllis Ann Criner and Jesse Lee Brown; her maternal grandparents, Cheryl Bourgeouis Meredith and William Ray Meredith, Jr.; her great grandparents, Roger Elliott Bourgeouis, Catherine Louis and Michael Hall, Peggy Ann Weaver, Mary Louis Brown, and Norma Jean Tyler; and her great great grandmother; Catherine Louise Bono. She is survived by her aunts, Stephanie Nicole LeBlanc, Kameciya Jeshaun Brown, Briuna Jenique Brown; and her uncle, Jalik Rayshon Lott, along with numerous cousins and great aunts and great uncles, including her great great-great aunt, Clara Lee Lott.
