Jacqueline Marshall Dugas

Jackie passed away peacefully on Wednesday October 23, 2024 with family in Slidell, LA at the age of 93. She is preceded in death by her parents Edward Marshall and Jennie Marshall Landry; her brother Gaylord Marshall and her two Children Cynthia Dugas Liner and David Dugas. Jackie is survived by her two sons Gary Dugas (Cathy) and Eugene Dugas (Angela). Five grandchildren Lindsey Dugas, Ashley Dugas Massicot (Jermey), Jacob Dugas (Amber), Sarah Cosse (Jonathan), Daniel Dugas. One great grandchild Carter Dugas. 

Jackie a native of New Orleans, LA, resided In Slidell, LA for the last 30 years. A graduate of Redemptorist High in 1950. She became a Licensed Relator in 1977. Jackie later became a Real Estate Broker, owned Jackie Dugas Realty and Apartment finders in New Orleans East for 9 years. She served on the Women’s Council of Realtors, The LRA and The Real Estate Board. Jackie was a member of The Million Dollar Club many times in her 40 year career. She worked for Distincitve Real Estate, Abek Realty and Top Agent Realty. She enjoyed dancing, cooking and most of all helping others find their homes. Jackie’s greatest accomplishments were her family and her Real Estate career. 

A Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, October 29, 2024 at the Chapel of Bagnell and Son Funeral Home, 75212 Hwy 437, Covington, LA 70435. Visitation will begin at 10 AM with the service to follow at 12 PM, burial will take place at Eternal Rest Cemetery.
