Jacob "Jake" Blount

Jacob “Jake” Avery Blount age 35 died on May 12, 2022, at North Oaks Medical Center.  He was the beloved husband of Leslie Ann Blount.  Loving Father of Austen Parrish, Kirsten Parrish, and Seth St.Cyr.  Papa to Gabriel Wascom.  He is also survived by his loving parents Avery and Missie Blount; sister Lindsay and Husband BJ Mizell; Brother Brady Blount and Wife to be Jullian Vannattan; loving Nephew Everett Mizell; Grandparents Gordon “Poppy” and Linda “Nonny” Mulkey; lifelong friends Jonathan, Brian and Fuzz; also numerous aunts, uncles and cousins  He was preceded in death by his Grandparents Milton and Lucy Blount and his Mother in Law Barbara Ann Little.  After graduating high school, he joined the family Custom Vinyl Siding business. Jacob enjoyed spending time with family and friends.  His other hobbies included kayaking, hiking, leather tooling, and collecting petrified wood.

Jacob’s service will be held at The Pentecostals of Lee Road, 17700 LA-40, Covington, LA 70435 on Wednesday, May 18, 2022.  Visitation 10-12, services begin at noon, with interment to follow at The Little Cemetery on Oil Field Road in Kentwood, LA.  Arrangements are being made by Bagnell and Son Funeral Home.
