Jacob Robert Glaser passed away in his home on June 9, 2024 at the age of 74. He was born in New Orleans, LA on June 13, 1949 to Jacob F. Glaser and Helen Dowie-Glaser. He was a native to St. Bernard Parish and a resident of Madisonville, LA. Jacob was a proud Vietnam Veteran who served his country honorably in the US Navy. Jacob enjoyed spending time with family and friends, was an avid pool player, and a member of the Knights of Columbus.
Mr. Glaser is survived by his loving wife Dianne with whom he shared many wonderful years and two children, Angelle and Jacob Glaser. He is also survived by his three grandchildren; Amelia Glaser, Aurora Garcia, and Dominic Garcia, as well as his many friends. His loved ones will continue to honor his legacy by living their lives to the fullest every day, and through them he will live on for years to come.
Family and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at St. Anselm Catholic Church, 306 Saint Mary Street, Madisonville, LA on June 21, 2024 at 1:00 pm. A visitation will be held from 11AM to service time. Refreshments and snacks will be available to all who attend. In lieu of flowers, a donation to St. Jude or Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center in memory of Mr. Jacob Robert Glaser would be preferred and greatly appreciated.
