Ira Simoneaux

Ira Paul Simoneaux passed away peacefully at home in Madisonville on Saturday July 28, 2018 and joined our lord and savior at the age of 88. He was a residence of Madisonville, La. for the past 18 years and a native of Marrero, LA. He was the beloved husband of Daisy Simoneaux for 68 years and the father of Gail Organ (Jimmy), Jimmy Simoneaux (Shirley), Iris Vacante (Andrew), Rose Mobley (Ricky) And Jeanette Buras (late Dominic). He adored his 16 grandchildren, Melanie David, Nicole, Jennifer, Stephanie, Brad, Nicky, Jessica, Chad, Daisy, Elizabeth ,Amanda, Randy, Paul, Michelle, and Matthew. He also adored his 21 Great Grandchildren and one Great-Great granddaughter. He is the brother of Betty Camardelle (the late Jeffery), Nolan Simoneaux (Lou) and Eva Jones (Clarence). He was preceded in death by his parents, Wilfred Sr. and Sedonia Simoneaux and siblings Lester Simoneaux, LulaMae Collura, Wilfred Simoneaux Jr. Lelia Volpi and Pete Simoneaux. He also leaves behind his beloved nieces and nephews.
