Ida Hunt

Ida Nell Hunt, age 78, passed away peacefully on April 9, 2020 at St. Tammany Parish Hospital. She was a lifelong resident of Covington, Louisiana.  Nell is the loving mother of Sherri Viviano (Billy), Tracy Hunt and Jennifer Finnan and proud Maw-maw to her grandchildren Meagan and Hunter Viviano, Madison and Colin Finnan and great-granddaughter Paisley Weilbaecher.  She is survived by her sister Norma Mailhos and brothers Flavius Sharp, Ray Sharp, Kenzie Sharp, and Larry Sharp and numerous brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and cousins.  She is preceded in death by her husband Michael Wade Hunt of 46 years, her parents Iddo and Velma Sharp as well as her sisters Ruth Sharp and Dorothy Bourque and brothers Austin Sharp, Floyd Sharp, Barney Sharp, Lavern Sharp and Howard Sharp.  Although Ida Nell has left us physically, her spirit will live on forever in our hearts. A private interment will be held for Ida Nell in the Sharp’s Chapel Cemetery in Bush, LA.
