Herman Hautau, Jr.

Herman E. Hautau, Jr. passed away on Friday, October 24, 2014 at 8:30 am at the age of 90. Herman was born on Saturday, January 19, 1924 to the late Pauline Cames Hautau and Herman E. Hautau Sr.
Herman is survived by his loving son, Kevin Harris Hautau; his beloved sister, Nita Newman of Slidell, LA; nieces and nephew, Renee Lemoine, Nita Meyer, and Harold Newman, II., Jeanine and Malcolm Guidry and family and Janet Fouert.
Herman was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Margie Yung Hautau; his brother, Howard Hautau; and his sister-in-law, Mazie Violet Yung.
Herman was a resident of New Orleans area for over seventy years and moved to Covington in his later years. He was a longtime employee of Woodward Wight & Co. He served honorably in WWII in United States Army. He was a member of the Fitzgerald United Methodist Church of Covington, LA.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Fitzgerald United Methodist Church, 80007 Fitzgerald Church Road, Covington, LA on Tuesday, October 28, 2014 at 11:00 am. Visitation will begin at the church at 10:00 am. Interment will follow in J.M. Fussell Cemetery, Fitzgerald Church Road, Covington, LA.
