Henry Loetzerich

Henry J. Loetzerich, 90 years old passed away on April 14, 2020. He was born on March 2, 1930 in New Orleans where he lived until moving to Slidell in 1985 where he resided for the remainder of his very full life.  He was married to Ada Gros Loetzerich for 64 beloved and happy years.  Henry worked for RCA Radio Marine and then Texaco until he happily retired in 1992, and then spent many days fishing and enjoying his retirement.  He was the oldest son of Emile and Hilda Loetzerich, and is survived by his sister, Joan Capdeville and cousin, Gayle Alfortish.  His brothers, Emile J. Loetzerich and Robert Loetzerich predeceased him.  He is also survived by his children, Karl A. Loetzerich (Ronda), Dara L. Baird (Bruce) and Lisa L. Donlan (Craig); his grandchildren, Jessica Amin (Nick), Derek Loetzerich (Katie), Sara Loetzerich (Jakob), Adam Blancher (Krystal), Evan Baird and Matthew Baird, great grandchildren, Isabel Greiner, Emilia Zeylayandia, Evelyn Avila, Samson Loetzerich and Henry Blancher.  He had a wonderful sense of humor and wit and will be greatly missed by many.  His family will spread his ashes as he wished below his favorite oak trees on his property on Three Oaks Lane at a private ceremony in the near future.
