Helen Hamilton

Helen Mendow Hamilton, age 86, passed away on January 27, 2019.  Helen was born in Georgetown, Arkansas to Raymond C. Lucas and Lois South. Helen is preceded in death by her beloved husband Robert Lee Hamilton, and her parents. Helen was previously married to Warren A Mendow(deceased), and is survived by her children Deborah M McCall, Dawn K Mendow, and Raymond W Mendow(deceased) and his wife Gretchen Mendow; Grandchild Shelley M Hornbuckle; Great Grandchildren Scott E Gottesman, and his wife Rainey Conant, Kali Hornbuckle, Samantha Lawrence, and Brandon Lawrence; Great Great Grandchildren Tatum D Gottesman and Maddox A Gottesman; and one sister Floella Miracle of Columbia, South Carolina. Helen was a long time resident of Covington, LA since the 50’s, she has also lived many other places such as Japan, The Panama Canal Zone, Venezuela, and Malaysia. She enjoyed going to spend time at the Mandeville Senior Center having lunch and playing cards with her friends. She also loved working in her yard, planting flowers, and putting out hummingbird feeders. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Graveside Service at Pinecrest Memorial Gardens, 2280 W 21st Avenue, Covington, LA 70433 on February 1, 2019 at 2:00 p.m.  A visitation will be held February 1, 2019 at Bagnell & Son Funeral Home 75212 Hwy 437 Covington, LA 70435 from 12:00 p.m. until 1:45 p.m.
