Hazel Casey
November 8, 1942 — December 16, 2014
Hazel Ann Lamia Casey passed away on Tuesday, December 16, 2014 at her residence in Bush, LA at the age of 72.
She was born on Sunday, November 8, 1942 in New Orleans, LA and was preceded in death by her parents, Orenia Bertrand and Anthony "Buddy" Lamia; and her daughter, Michelle Casey.
Hazel is survived by her beloved husband of 39 years, James Edward Casey, Jr.; her loving children, Wyatt M. Cambre (Liz), Jarret A. Cambre (Amanda), Shane J. Cambre (Stacey), Jamie L. Berg (Steve), Stephanie C. Aloi, James E. Casey, III. (Janet), Allison C. Cooper (Darryl); her adoring grandchildren, Wyatt M. Cambre, Jr., Calie E. Cambre, Jeremiah A. Cambre, Anderson L. Cambre, Camille G. Cambre, Olivia A. Cambre, Claire L. Cambre, Rachel M. Berg, Zachary Berg, Cody Aloi, Casey M. Aloi, Cole E. Casey, Colin J. Casey, Alanna T. Cooper, Bryce E. Cooper, and Brock A. Cooper.
Hazel was a member of Collins Blvd. Baptist Church and a former member of Fairhaven Baptist Church. She was retired from the St. Tammany Parish School Board, after 25 years of dedicated service, driving bus 209, and owned and operated J & W Contractors.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Service in the Chapel of Bagnell & Son Funeral Home, 75212 Lee Road, Covington, LA 70435 on Saturday, December 20, 2014 at 4:00 pm. Visitation from 2:00 pm until service time.
