Harris Joseph Fontenot, Sr. passed away on Saturday, February 6, 2016.
A dearly loved Father, Grandfather, Great Grandfather, brother, and uncle. Harris is survived by his 4 children Michelle Fontenot of Oklahoma
Joseph Harris Fontenot, Jr of Marrero, Marcia Williams and Husband Glen Ray Williams of Covington and Jamie Fontenot of Mississippi. 10 Grandchildren Ansley & Presley Chatellier, Griffin Ray Williams, Mia & Anthony De La Paz, Toni, Kelsey, Sean, Ryan, and Brandin Fontenot. 1 Great grandchild Zayden Welch. Many nieces and nephews and 1 Godchild Wayne and wife Cynthia Fontenot of Mire. Sisters Maureen Lafleur & Alice Delafosse of Ville Platte, Mavis Ortego of Houma, Etalie Theresa Knoblock of Port Arthur
He was preceded in death by his father & mother Savio & Amelie Catoire Fontenot of Ville Platte, his brothers Joseph Eurice Fontenot also of Ville Platte and Joseph Jacque Arnaud Fontenot of Church Point, sisters Theotis LeJeune of Ville Platte, Wilda Bourgeois of La Place and a grandson.
A Christian Celebration of Life will be held on Friday February 12, 2016 at Bagnell & Son Funeral Home in Covington from 9:00am-12:00pm. Right of Committal will follow in Eternal Rest Cemetery.
