Guylene Murray

Guylene Loumiet Murray, age 65, peacefully passed away on the 18th of August, 2024, after losing her battle with cancer. 

Guylene was born in New Orleans but resided in St. Tammany Parish for more than 30 years. Guylene is survived by her husband of 45 years, Mark Murray, her mother, Lorraine, her sister, Roxanne (Gerry), and two brothers, Rick (Julie) and Randy (Tania); as well as nieces, Erin, Madeline, and Gabrielle, and nephews, Rick III, and Stephen. 

Guylene was preceded in death by her farther, Richard Loumiet Sr., and her paternal grandparents, Harvey and Aline Loumiet Sr., and her maternal grandparents, Guy and Jane Spicuzza.

What's in a name; Guylene was named after her maternal grandfather and paternal grandmother. Guylene had an uncanny ability to touch people in a deep and positive way, always leaving an everlasting memory.

Family and friends are invited to attend her service on Friday, August 30th, 2024, from 9:30-11:00am, Mass to follow, at Saint Luke The Evangelist Catholic Church, 910 Cross Gates Blvd, Slidell, LA.
