Gloria Morris Scardina, aged 86, passed away in her home on Thursday, August 8, 2024 in Covington, LA.
Gloria was born in Harrisville, MS to Ercell Alton Morris and Cecil Neely Morris. She is survived by her sons Michael, Christopher, and Scott Scardina, daughter Anna M. Nicase, six grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren, her sister Laura M. Guillory (Wayne), sister in law Janice Morris (James), along with several nieces, nephews, and many friends.
She is preceded in death by her beloved husband Lawrence J. Scardina, daughter Renate' M Richardson, her parents Ercell and Cecil Morris, brothers James Morris, and half sisters Kitty Myers and Fay Collins-Dokey and daughter-in-law Staci Scardina.
Gloria was a member of First Baptist Church of Covington. She was a very loving, caring and giving mother, sister and friend. She was always a joy to be with and has never met a stranger. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

A Celebration of Life will be held on August 26, 2024 in The Chapel of First Baptist Church of Covington 16054 Murphy Road, Covington, Louisiana 70433 beginning at 10:30AM, a service will begin at 11:00AM, with reception to follow at noon.
Care has been entrusted to Bagnell & Son Funeral Home in Covington, LA.
