George L. Patterson, Jr. passed away on Tuesday, March 3, 2015 at Regency Hospital of Covington, LA at the age of 61. George was born on January 24, 1954 to Merle "Pud" Patterson Ozment and the late George L. Patterson, Sr.
George was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Mays Patterson; father, George L. Patterson, Sr.; grandfather, George B. Patterson; grandmother, Aline Patterson King; and grandparents, Marvin and Nellie Galatas.
George is survived by his son, George L. Patterson, III; his parents, Darrell and Merle "Pud" Ozment; sisters, Valarie Patterson of Folsom, LA, Wendy Ozment of Tuscon, AZ; brother and sister-in-law, Darrell, Jr. and Denise Ozment of Nashville, TN; and uncles, Wayne Patterson (Susan) and Buddy Patterson (Lo). Also survived by many nieces, nephews, and special friends, Sue Porter, Judy Wolf, and Lester Bernades.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service in the chapel of Bagnell & Son Funeral Home, 75212 Lee Road, Covington, LA on Thursday, March 12, 2015 from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm.
