George Beauvais

George Pascal Beauvais, born on March 27, 1934, in New Orleans, Louisiana, passed away peacefully on February 18, 2025, in his hometown. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, cherished by all who knew him.

George enjoyed life to the fullest. He found great joy in playing Bunco with friends at the Pink House, and he lit up the dance floor with his graceful moves. His family was his world, and he loved spending time with them, creating treasured memories that will last a lifetime. George also obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Business from Southeastern College, he still enjoyed getting together with his troopers (college friends) talking about the old times and how much fun was had. He loved and enjoyed all of his friends and worshiping at Parkview Baptist Church, he felt at home with the love he received. 

He is survived by his loving spouse of 41 years, Mary Beauvais, and his children: Leslie Beauvais-Brand (Ed),  Ross Beauvais (Melissa),  Amiee Becroft (Tim),  Katherine Nicely (Jeff), Toni McCloskey, and Larry Rolling. George also leaves behind twelve grandchildren and six great-grandchildren, all of whom will carry his spirit and love in their hearts, they were his sunshine. 

George was preceded in death by his parents, George James Beauvais and Ida Mae Beauvais, as well as his brother-in-law, Henry McCloskey and step-son Shawn Jeffery Harper. 

A Visitation in honor of George will take place at Parkview Baptist Church, located at 6301 Camphor St, Metairie, LA 70003, on February 28, 2025, from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM. Following the visitation, a Memorial Service will be held at the same location from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

George Pascal Beauvais will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all whose lives he touched.
