Georganna Marie Cole Dupuy

Georganna Marie Cole Dupuy of Lacombe, Louisiana passed away on February 3, 2025 at the age of 76.

Georganna is preceded in death by her parents Howard Cole and Katherine Travis. Her loving Husband Garland Dupuy, Daughter Garla Dupuy Polston, and Brother John Lankford.

She is remembered by her Daughters, Gwendolyn Batiste (Turk) and Gaynell Roberson (Gary), Brother Richard Travis, Grandchildren, Joseph Duncan, Amiee Duncan Sellers, and Mia Roberson, as well as two great grandchildren Landon & Bailey.

Georganna was retired from the St.Tammany Sheriff's Department with over 20 years and with over 10 years with the Slidell Police Department working as a correctional officer. When she was with the Sheriff's Dept. she became the first female Lieutenant corrections officer at the time. Something she was very proud of.

In her free time, she loved spending time with her granddaughter Mia, whom she was so proud of.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
