No matter where Genevieve was or who she was with, there was always laughter. Her smile would light up a room and she loved her family with everything she had. Gen was a devoted wife to her husband of 48 years and was always by his side. She enjoyed the trips taken with Royce to the Great Smokey Mountains, Europe, Colorado, Las Vegas…wherever he chose as a destination, she was happy to go. Genevieve was a loving and supportive Mother to her three children, a dedicated Grandmother and Great-Grandmother and a faithful committed sister to all her siblings. She was a
faithful Christian and member of the First Baptist Church Covington and a former member of Ben’s Ford Baptist Church, an avid reader, enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family. She continued her travels with her children, grandchildren, sisters, brothers and sister-in-laws making wonderful memories with all. Genevieve celebrated her 70 birthday in Moab, Utah with her children and was surprised with another memorable trip to Hot Springs, Arkansas for her 83 rd birthday. She loved fishing and boating. Her sisters were her best friends and they spent many entertaining hours together as often as they could. Genevieve was famous for her chicken cornbread
dressing which was a requirement at every family gathering. To sum up her life, she was a very humble and loving woman…truly our Angel on earth. She will be missed tremendously by all who knew her.
