Gay Ann LaFleur passed away on June 22, 2020 at the age of 59. She was a graduate of Abramson high School and went on to work with prominent trainers at the New Orleans Fair Grounds and Churchhill Downs. Gay loved her family, her friends, Horses and the New Orleans Saints. Her petite 5’ stature was 10’ full of Hustle, Humor and Love. Her door was always open, there was always something on the grill or on the stove, always laughter and her home always full, especially when the Saints were playing. She is survived by her mother, Doretha Raines LaFleur and two sister, Lawanda Joy LaFleur and Cheryl LaFleur Hall. Losing the baby of our family breaks our hearts in ways words cannot describe. Knowing she is no longer in pain and with loved ones who have gone before provided some peace. Gay Gay, We love you and you will be in our hearts forever. Family and friends are invited to attend a Graveside Service on Friday June 26, 2020 at the Reed Raines Memorial Garden at 11:00 a.m. Due to current pandemic, Social Distancing regulations will apply.
