Gary Hanemann

Gary Paul Hanemann passed away peacefully on the morning of June 10, 2021 at his home in Folsom, La.  Born on May 10 1960 in New Orleans La., the son of Paul H. Hanemann (deceased) and Bobbie Simmons Hanemann. Graduated East Jefferson High School in 1978.  His personal relationship with Jesus Christ led him to be a faithful member of New Zion Baptist Church.  Gary had a passion for music, building computers, traveling, birdwatching, photography, and had a grand love for his cats. He was the loving caregiver to his Mom for the last several years.

Survived by his mother Bobbie; his brother Chris and wife Lynnell; sisters Karen Keating, Paula Dufrene and husband Mark; nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews.
Services will be held at New Zion Baptist Church on Saturday June 12, 2021.  Visitation will be held at the church from 9:00am to 11:00am.  The ceremony will begin at 11:00am with burial in the church cemetery.  Following the burial, a gathering will be held at the families home at 402 Orleans Ave. Folsom.
