Gary Richard Anderson

Perhaps best known and remembered for his career as Principal of Chatfield Elementary, Gary spent countless hours dedicated to promoting empathy and excellence in childhood education, inspiring others with his passion for teaching. His other great passions were spending time with loved ones in nature, playing and collecting rare guitars, and collecting and preserving vinyl records. In the last few years, he most enjoyed long drives. He is survived by his wife, Maelynne; his sons, Chris and Darren; and his grandchildren, Wyatt and Lena. Many thanks to the staff of Summerfield Assisted Living and ACG Hospice for their loving care.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
