Garland Wayne Cooper passed away on Sunday September 6, 2015 at the age of 66. A native of Key West, Florida and a resident of Franklinton, LA for many years. Son of the late Carl and Helen Cooper, and father of the late Tammy Cooper. Loving companion to Catherine Ricca Bordelon. Garland is survived by his children, Jeanne e. Cooper, Garland W. Cooper Jr, Madaline A. Dison, and Jennifer A Cooper, brothers and sisters; Frederick C. Cooper, Dianne C. Comeaux, Beverly J. Cooper, Bobby Cooper, Donna Cooper, Mark Cooper and James R. Kennedy. Also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren and friends. Garland was an avid hunter, fisherman, seaman, painter, sandblaster, and a great cook. Garland will be missed by all.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Service at the chapel of Bagnell & Son Funeral Home 75212 Lee Road, Covington, LA on Monday, September14, 2015 at 12:00 noon. Visitation from 10:00 am until service time.
