Freddie J. Dufriend a native of Marrero, La entered into eternal rest Wednesday July 8, 2015. Freddie was a retired Army and Air Force Veteran, a former teacher at Archbishop Shaw High School and was self-employed in the marine industry for over 35 years. He is survived by his sons Mark (Lisa), Trey (Cheri), grandchildren Randall, Caitlin, Trey Jr., Amber, Lance, Dylan, siblings Autry Dufrene (Andrea), Sonja (Richard) Brown, Deborah (Mark) Bevill, Annette (Robert) Blackwell, Linda (Nickey) Mashburn, Joseph (Pat) Dufrene, Jonathan (Angela) Dufrene. He was preceded in death by his wife Susan Beckwith Dufriend, his daughter Dana, father Joseph, mother Bertha Whitford, and his brother Henry Dufriend.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Memorial Service on Monday July 13, 2015 at, Anchor of Hope Baptist Church,436 Wall Blv d, Gretna, LA 70056, at 10:30 AM. Visitation will be from 9:30 AM-11:30AM.
