Franklin Simon Ruiz

Franklin (Frank) Ruiz passed away peacefully on August 20, 2023 at the age of 84. Frank is survived by his wife Diann Ruiz, his son Franklin L. Ruiz (Judy), sister Gail Page, Isabelle Wadsworth, and grand child Megan M. Ruiz. He is proceeded in death by his parents Franklin L. Ruiz, Isabelle Simon Ruiz, son Brian Paul Ruiz, brothers Laurent Ruiz, Garland Ruiz, sisters Elaine Guillot, and Clarisse Jacques.

Franklin had a lot achievements in life. He entered the police academy in December 5, 1960, entered the special squad in February 26,1961, he was then relocated to the 5th district on June 10, 1962, then to the 2nd district in April 28, 1963, September 22, 1963 he entered the juvenile division where he was stationed for 4 years. He then went to work for the District Attorney's office in March 30, 1967, few months later in October of 1967 he became sergeant. He spent many years as sergeant until December of 1989 he became Lieutenant, In February of 1992 he retired from the police force and went to work for Maiden Voyage from 1992-2000. After leaving Maiden Voyage he went and worked for Larry Flint's Hustler Club until his last days. He will be missed and loved by all.
