Francis "Frank" Melvin Bretey, Jr. was called to be with our Lord and Savior on Friday, January 30, 2015 at the age of 68. Frank was born on Friday, October 4, 1946 in New Orleans, LA. He resided most of his life in St. Bernard Parish and was a current resident of Covington, LA.
Frank was preceded in death by his parents, Alice Aviragnet Bretey and Francis M. Bretey, Sr. and his brother, Jack Bretey and brother-in-law, Charles Sarran.
Frank is survived by his beloved wife, Joan Sarran Bretey; his children, Frankie Bretey (Tammy), Tammy Bretey Snyder, Adam Bretey (Roxane), and Brandi Lynn Bretey; his grandchildren, Christin, Taylor, Trey, Matthew, Devin, Timmy, Madison, Joshua and Charley; his brother-in-law and sisters-in-law, Yoshie Bretey, Judy and David Bordelon, and Angela Sarran. Also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Memorial Service in the chapel of Bagnell & Son Funeral Home, 75212 Lee Road, Covington, LA on Friday, February 6, 2015 at 7:00 pm. Visitation from 5:30 pm until service time.
