Francis Barovechio Sr.

Francis Paul “Frank” Barovechio, Sr. passed away on January 9, 2018 in Slidell, Louisiana. He was born in New Orleans, LA on September 6, 1928 to Luigi Barrovecchio (deceased) and Giovanna La Picas Barrovecchio (deceased). He is survived by his wife Audrey Triche Barovechio, he is preceded in death by Hilda Serpas Barovechio and Gayle Lusch Barovechio. He is the brother of Octave Barovechio and the late Josephine Capriotti, Angelo Barovechio, and Ernest Barovechio.
Frank graduated from Warren Easton High School, Delgado and Tulane University and worked as an electrical contractor and was the eldest member of the IBEW local 130 and received a 70-year pin. He was employed by Lambert Electric.
He is survived by his children Francis Paul Barovechio, Jr, (Patti), Dr. Pamela Egan (Peter), Jean Triche (Barry), Kendra Gonzales (George). Also, he is survived by his grandchildren Zoe’, Peter Jr., Paige, Patrick, Parker, Jill, Blane, Frankie, Brooke, Brice, Brady, Bailey and two great grandchildren Claude and Margaret.
Visitation will be at St. Benedict Church, 20370 Smith Road, Covington, LA 70435 at 10:00 AM on Saturday, January 13, 2018 immediately followed by Mass at 11: 00 AM with internment following at St. Joseph Abbey Cemetery, 75376 River Road, Covington, LA 70435
