Frances Diane Glynn

Frances Diane Glynn, a beloved mother and grandmother, passed away on Sunday, March 16, 2025, in Covington, Louisiana. Born on Tuesday, December 22, 1942, in Algiers, Louisiana, Frances was also a native of New Orleans, Louisiana and recently resided in Covington, Louisiana.

Frances dedicated her life to her family, cherishing every moment spent with them. She is survived by her loving children, Patrick M. Glynn, Jr. and Daniel S. Glynn, along with his wife, Donna. Her legacy continues through her five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren, who filled her life with joy and pride. She is also survived by her devoted brother, Kenny Sharpe.

Frances was united in love with her late husband, Patrick M. Glynn, Sr., who meant the world to her. She was the daughter of the late Fred Sharpe and Hazel Sharpe, and she was also predeceased by her siblings: Dolly Walker and Freddie Sharpe.

An enthusiast of gardening, photography, and sewing, Frances found joy in nurturing both her plants and her cherished memories captured through her camera lens. She enjoyed creating beautiful moments and experiences for with family. Additionally, Frances treasured the time spent with her loved ones, creating lasting memories that will be fondly remembered by her loved ones.

Frances Diane Glynn will be deeply missed, but her spirit and love will forever remain in the hearts of her family and friends.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, March 22, 2025, in the Chapel of Bagnell & Son Funeral Home located at 75212 Hwy 437, Covington, LA 70435, from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM, followed by a memorial service beginning at 5:00 PM
