Frances Lee Frechou

November 25, 1947 — May 27, 2024

Frances Cacioppo Frechou Nov. 25, 1947 - May 27, 2024 Frances was born in New Orleans, Louisiana on November 25, 1947 where she resided until 1992 when she moved to Slidell.

Frances, better known as “Frannie”, was a proud member of St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church. It was her Faith in God that carried her through life’s trials and tribulations until the end.

She is preceded in death by her father, Leon Cacioppo Sr, and her mother, Frances Cacioppo.

Frannie is survived by her daughter, Melissa Lee Germain; her grandson, Ashton Ray Ball; her three brothers, Leon Cacioppo Jr (Toni), Lawrence Cacioppo (Jamie), and Stephen Cacioppo (Patti), and her many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

She was employed as a purchasing agent at EHS corporation for 38 years. She is described by many as a loyal and dedicated employee, as well as a kind and thoughtful friend. She was very fond of all her coworkers, and had a great admiration for longtime friend and company owner,
Tony Sofio.

Frannie loved her family, and was truly devoted to her daughter and grandson. She would spend her free time with them, as well as her two beloved Maltese, Dante and Ditto. She was generous, funny, and kind-hearted. She had a very keen sense and was always ready to lend a listening ear to the problems of others, but never complained of her own. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
