Flara "Eyvonne" Heck

Flara "Eyvonne" Heck Resident of Covington, Louisiana passed away May 20, 2023, at the age of 83.

Eyvonne is preceded in death by her Parents, Rosier David Foxworth and Flara Estelle Hardy Foxworth. Her son-in-law Rick Freeman, four brothers, seven sisters, along with one grandchild.

She leaves behind to cherish her precious memory her loving and devoted husband Clarence “Ray” Heck, her children Ricky (Laurie) Heck, Sheila (George) Thompson, Lisa Freeman, Scott Heck and Brian (Linda) Heck. As well as a multitude of grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Eyvonne always wanted Ray by her side. Loved to cook, be with family, and travel. Friends and her church family were very important to her, and she loved to sing in church. Eyvonne always enjoyed looking for bargains with Aunt Sue at flea markets and Goodwill. She enjoyed spending time fishing and crabbing with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She always wanted her “babies” at her house. She loved collecting chicken figures and had over 100 throughout the house.

Services will be held in the Chapel of Bagnell and Son Funeral Home 75212 Highway 437 (Lee Rd) Covington, Louisiana 70435. Thursday May 25, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. Visitation to begin at 9:30 a.m. Interment will take place at Barker McManus Cemetery immediately following services.
