Erica Currie Firmin

Erica Currie Firmin, age 35, passed away on October 31, 2023. Born February 20th,1988 to Darryl and Karen Firmin. Erica grew up in Covington, Louisiana, with her sister Darlene, along with many friends, cousins, neighbors and relatives nearby.

Erica was a beloved daughter, sister, mother, cousin, and friend. She had a heart of gold and never knew a stranger, and was always the life of the party. Erica loved to cook for her family and friends and her specialty was Homemade Shrimp Corn and Crab Bisque.

She is survived by her two sons, Josiah and Matthew, her Grandmother Sherry O. Firmin, her Mother Karen, Father Darryl, and Sister Darlene, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her Paternal Grandfather Billy Firmin and her Maternal Grandparents Franklin and Margie Yax.

Erica will be remembered for her beautiful smile, contagious laugh, her generosity, and her ability to love others for who they are. Although she will be greatly missed by her family and friends, they are comforted by the fact that she is healed and walking with her savior. Services for Erica will be private.
