Ellen Menzato

Ellen Umbarger Menzato of Covington, Louisiana, passed away Saturday July 14, 2018.  Ellen was a native of Ada, Kansas, a loving wife of Dennis A. Menzato, Sr., loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend to everyone and she will be missed by all who knew and loved her.  She is preceded in death by her Father Virgil Umbarger and mother Lottie Umbarger of Ada, Kansas. She is survived by her husband Dennis A. Menzato, Sr., brother James Newton Umbarger and twin brother Eldon Ray Umbarger. She left behind to cherish her memory; her son Jeffery C. Roberts (Sherry), step-son Dennis A. Menzato, Jr. (Kathy), step-son Joseph Paul Menzato, Sr., brothers-in-law Frank P. Auderer (Audrey), Paul Joseph Menzato Jr. (Myra) and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces nephews and countless friends. She was a remarkable, dedicated, skilled and professional worker. She held full time employment from 1967 to her well-deserved retirement in 2010. Ellen was an avid reader, excellent cook and a gracious host who loved and valued her family and friends more than anything. She will be deeply missed. Family and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service officiated by Pastor Larry Lassley Saturday July 21, 2018 at 12:00 p.m. with visitation from 10:00 a.m. until service time at Bagnell & Son Funeral Home 75212 Hwy 437 Covington, Louisiana 70435.
