Elizabeth Carson

Elizabeth Ann Klaman Carson, resident of Covington, LA, passed away Friday, September 4, 2015.  Originally from Metairie, LA, Elizabeth was born August 10, 1953 to Joycelyn Lacy Klaman and the late James Klaman.  Liz is survived by her husband, David C. Carson; beloved mother of Brandon Johnston and Lacy Johnston Stabenow (Blake), and grandmother of Declan Stabenow; Step-mother of Tara Carson and Shane Carson. Also survived by her brothers, Michael Klaman (Holly) and Patrick Klaman (Casey); nieces and nephew, Tristan Klaman, Amy Klaman Makovsky (Gary), Katie Klaman Simoes (Chris) and Todd Klaman; Niece of James M. Lacy.

Liz enjoyed hosting friends and family at their home for any type of celebration. Her creative touch made every detail special- from holidays to barbecues to impromptu gatherings and especially her grandson’s birthday parties.

Relatives and friends are invited the Memorial  Service Wednesday September 9, 2015 at  7:30 pm in the chapel of Bagnell & Son Funeral Home, 75212 Lee Road. Friends may call after 5:30 pm until service time. The family would like to thank St. Joseph Hospice for their compassionate care, respect and guidance.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The American Cancer Society at www.cancer.org in memory of Elizabeth Carson.
