Earline McCracken Massey, of Mandeville, LA, passed away peacefully on September 28, 2017, at the age of 99, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Ralph, AL, and moved to New Orleans at the age of 16 to live with her sister Louise during the depression. She is survived by her three daughters, Dianne Parks (Jason), Kathy Massey and Lynn Larter (Lou), all of Mandeville, her five grandchildren, Brian Hebert (Michael Colgrove), Rebecca Sibille (Bryan), Shannon Hebert (Amy Lesko), Katharine Armijo (John), Lauren Heiman (Jonathan), and her ten great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 55 years, Wesley Perry Massey, her grandson, Daniel Larter, her parents, Rosa and Will McCracken, a brother, Harold McCracken, sisters Dulcie Duncan, Evie McCullum, Vivian Lancaster, Lora Conwill, Louise Hawkins. Earline will always be remembered for her love of family and friends, her pure heart, wonderful nature, and love of life. Services to be held on Friday, October 6, 2017 at St. Timothy’s Methodist Church, Mandeville, LA, with visitation at 10 am and services at 11 am. Interment services will be private.
