Durwood "Woody" Crawford

Durwood “Woody” Crawford passed away on August 30, 2017 at St. Tammany Parish Hospital in Covington, LA. He was born on December 27, 1953 in Tylertown, Mississippi. He was a graduate of Covington High School. Woody was a loyal employee of Washington-St. Tammany Electric for over 30 years as a Field Service Representative where he was loved by his coworkers and clients. He enjoyed serving God, spending time with his grandchildren and pets, and the outdoors.
He was survived by daughter Ashley (Jason) Manton, and step-daughters Sherrie Verges and Julie (Chris) Dutruch; Sue Crawford, wife of 25 years; grandchildren Chloe, Blaze, Tyler (Desiree), Hunter and great grandson Dominick; sister Sharon Crawford (George) Stiles; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, Margie Vince Crawford and Edward Crawford, Jr., brother Johnny Earl Crawford and sister Susan Crawford Barber. Family and friends are invited to pay respects at Bagnell & Son Funeral Home (75212 Lee Road, Covington). Visitation will be on Monday, September 4, 2017 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm and a service will be held on Tuesday, September 5, 2017 at 11:00am. Interment will follow at Thomas Cemetery, Bush, LA.
