Dorothy Dean Brumfield

Dorothy Dean Brumfield passed away December 22, 2022, at the age of 78 in Covington, Louisiana. She was born to Julis and Leonia Addison in 1944 in Osyka, Mississippi.

Dorothy is preceded in death by her parents Julis and Leonia Addison. Siblings: Hilda Mae Johnson, Julia Lee Walls, Gloria Tate, Albert Addison and Alton Addison and her Daughter Darlene Brumfield.

She leaves behind to cherish her memories her children Viola Hackett and Otis Brumfield. Siblings, Nancy Hayes, Helen Addison, and Barbara Addison. Along with 4 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

She was an usher member of Greater Starlight Baptist Church. She loved her family and church family. She loved to cook and was known for her cakes and pies. She found comfort from God, her pastor, and sisters of the church.

A Funeral Service will be held Saturday December 31, 2022, at Greater Starlight Baptist Church 521 West 28^th Ave, Covington, Louisiana 70434. Visitation will begin at 10:00 A.M. Service to start at 11:00 A.M with interment immediately following at Eternal Rest Cemetery 75212 HWY 437 Covington, Louisiana 70435
