Donald Lee Barbee age 81, passed away on April 20, 2017 at his home with his family by his side. Mr. Barbee was known for playing his Guitar and in his younger days played at the Grand Ole Opera, with such names as, Kittie Wells, Faron Young, and Conway Twitty and many others. He is preceded in death by his son Daniel Carl Barbee; parents; Carlis and Ivy Cartwright Barbee; Brother James Paul Barbee. He is survived by his wife Carolyn “ Joy “ Barbee, a son Anthony Pontiff of Pearl River, La.,Tamara Kostos of Slidell LA., James Pontiff (Bobbie) of Luther Ok., Ronald Barbee & family Globe Az., Donald Lee Barbee Jr. Pahrump, NY., Daughter Donna Jean Hunter, Stafford AZ. A brother Ernie Barbee, Sisters Zenith Yanell and Carolyn Center all of AZ. 17 Grand Children and 14 Great Grand Children and numerous other family members & friends. He will be missed!
