Dillon Joyce Reidenauer was born May 30, 2006 in Slidell, Louisiana and grew up in Abita Springs, Louisiana. Dillon was taken too soon on February 26, 2025. Dillon spread the light of Christ to all who knew her through her kind heart and beautiful spirit. She was intelligent and wise beyond her years. She was a dedicated and loyal daughter, sister, granddaughter, great granddaughter, girlfriend, friend, niece and cousin. She was considered a role model to many, especially to her younger family members who idolized her.

Dillon trusted in God and lived her faith. She was a faithful Catholic, and was honored to be a confirmation sponsor to her cousin. She helped lead retreats for the Teen Encounter Christ community, attended bible study at LSU, and brought others closer to Christ through her joyful and faithful spirit.

Dillon was a hard worker and high achiever. She graduated from Fontainebleau High School with honors and as a member of the National Honor Society in 2024. She was captain of both FHS Swim Team and Track and Field Team. Throughout her high school career, Dillon competed at the state level in both sports. Dillon was at her best when soaring over the bar, pole vaulting. Coming out of high school, she was deemed one of the best pole vaulters in the state of Louisiana.

Dillon attended Louisiana State University and made the Dean’s List pursuing a degree in interior design. Dillon was a member of the LSU Track and Field team as a pole vaulter. Being a part of the LSU athletics family was a dream come true for Dillon.

Dillon is survived by her parents, Brad and Aundrea, sister Ryleigh, grandparents Robert and Rita Reidenauer and Andrew and Josephine Dillon, great grandmother Imogene Dillon, uncles and aunts Robert (Gretchen) Reidenauer, Jr, Jacqueline (Paul) DeMarco, and Margaret (Joseph) Shamp, first cousins Julian and Grace Reidenauer, Jack and Andie DeMarco, and Camille, Charlotte and Crawford Shamp.
