Dickie Louis Jenkins passed away on Wednesday, November 19, 2014 at the age of 59.  Dickie was born on May 28, 1955 in Bogalusa, LA and was a lifelong resident of Bush, LA.  Survived by his beloved wife, Barbara Ann P. Runco Jenkins; his daughters, Katie May Jenkins Moran (Alan Moran, Jr.) and Lou Ann Jenkins McKeivier (Rocky McKeivier); grandchildren, J. Dickie Moran, Kayla Moran, Gage Moran, Michael McKeivier, II., Lillie Ann McKeivier, Emma Claire McKeivier, and Maggie Elizabeth McKeivier; and many other family members and dear friends.

Dickie was a retired Captain of the St. Tammany Parish Sheriff's Office after 30 years of service.  He was an avid hunter and fisherman.  He was a supporter of the Louisiana 4-H and FFA, including the Junior Livestock Shows.  He was a member of the St. Tammany Parish Sheriff's Office Deputy's Association, the National FOP and a member of the Robert H. Burns Son's of the American Legion.  He was the owner/operator/CEO of the True Blue Farm.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Service in the Chapel of Bagnell & Son Funeral Home, 75212 Lee Road, Covington, LA 70435 on Saturday, November 22, 2014 at 12:00 pm.   Visitation from 10:00 am until service time.
